Condo developers took out the Horseshoe on Lamar (sign above), where the legends of Austin musicians cut their teeth. When that same private equity-driven greed comes for the Saxon Pub, Broken Spoke, Butler Pitch 'n' Putt or any other cultural icons across Austin, we will fight.

Similar to the fight required of every artist to earn a livable wage on stage, we refuse to let this hellacious greed threaten the OG Austin culture that the world associates with 'The Live Music Capital of the World.'
